For Scholarship support of one or more Native American students at either the University of Dubuque at Dubuque, Iowa 52001 or the Dubuque Theological Seminary located at 2570 Asbury Road, Dubuque, Iowa 52001. The income used for this purpose shall be outside the budget and shall not be equalized.Said scholarship support is to be awarded to one or more Native American students who are in preparation for a career in teaching, or working in a Church-related occupation, within the Native American Community in the United States of America. The student selected shall be chosen at the discretion of the Vocation Agency of the United Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A.

Blanche Smith Hughes Memorial Scholarship Fund | 203100061164

To be used for scholarship assistance for black students in medical school or in college in a pre-med course leading to medical school. First preference shall be given to students who plan to practice general medicine in small towns of under 30,000 population for a period of three years. It is understood that in the even the student recipient does not comply with the terms of the preceding sentence, shall return said money to the Foundation with interest. The rate of interest to be that same as what a Certificate of Deposit would earn at the time of the grant/loan is made to the student. This is to be administered by the Foundation and the College/University involved.

to provide scholarship support for Christians, who are citizens of the United States of America and who are training for medical mission service. Further, said scholarship support should be awarded only to a student or students who desire specific training for Christian medical mission service. Should there cease to be a need for scholarship support of Christians training for medical mission service, the inet income shall be used for such purposes of the Presbyterian Church (USA) as its General Assembly shall in its wisdom direct in furthering the Christian program of the Church.
