Educational Endowment Fund for International Leaders Fund | 203100059353

The Foundation shall reinvest the net income of the Fund into principal until the corpus of the Fund reaches $100,000.00, so that such reinvested net income becomes principal. After the corpus of the Fund reaches $100,00.00, the Foundation shall pay the net income therefrom quarterly, after the expiration of each calendar quarter, to the Presbyterian Church (USA), 100 Witherspoon Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40202-1396, to be used for the education of Christian international leaders, men and women, according to the priorities established by the Worldwide Ministries Division, or its successor. The General Assembly Council, or its successor, shall have oversight of the expenditures of said distributions after each distribution is made from the Fund to the Beneficiary. If in the future, the Beneficiary no longer supports the education of Christian international leaders, distributions of the Fund will be used by the Beneficiary for the Worldwide Ministries Division for other mission related programs. If in the sole discretion of the General Assembly Council, acting on behalf of the Beneficiary, the distributions are no longer needed for these programs, then the Beneficiary may use the Fund distributions for the support of another priority of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), as determined in the sole discretion of the General Assembly Council.

Dr. W. Eugene Houston Memorial Scholarship Fund for Johnson | 203100061162

In support of theological education for racial minorities in accordance with the terms listed in appendix A of this agreement. Appendix A: 1. Recipient should be a member of a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and under the care of a Presbytery. 2.Recipient should be in good academic standing. 3.Preference should be given to a student who: a. Is a full time student, b. Is male, and c. Has displayed an interest in Presbyterian Polity. 4.If for some reason there is no worthy recipient for a given year, the money for the scholarship shall be returned to (or retained in) the principal for reinvestment. 5.The Vocation Agency or its successor shall administer the scholarship, choosing a recipient from candidates submitted to it by Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary of Atlanta, Georgia. 6. Should Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary of Atlanta, Georgia be merged or consolidated with any other seminary of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the said net income from this gift shall be paid to the said merged seminary which shall be entitled to receive all the benefits of this gift and shall be obligated to administer the same in all respects and in accordance with the terms of this agreement. 7. Further, should Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary of Atlanta, Georgia or its successors cease to exist or cease to be a part of or officially connected with the Presbyterian Church (USA), then the said net income shall be used for the support of theological education for racial minorities at one or more of the seminaries related to the Presbyterian Church (USA) in accordance with the terms of this agreement for use as similar as possible to the original intent of the Donor.
