Should this need cease to exist, then the income shall be used by the Board of Pensions to increase the pension payments to the Pension Plan beneficiaries.

Per the terms of the agreement, the said income shall be used for the benefit of retired missionaries and other church servants who may have special needs. Such income for this purpose shall be considered to be outside the budget, and not equalized with other funds for this purpose, so that this income shall be over and above other monies budgeted for this use.

To the General Assembly of the United Presbyterian Church in the USA, Witherspoon Building, Philadelphia, PA, 19107, to be held in trust. Such fund in its entirety is to be administered as an endowment fund with the income payable to the Board of Pensions of the United Presbyterian Church for the purpose of providing emergency and supplemental aid to retired ministers and their wives and widows, particularly for the elderly who are in financial distress. Those residing in the Philadelphia area are to be given preference.
