Any income that is paid to the Peace Foundation may be used for any purposes designated by its governing body. Additionally, upon request from the Peace Foundation, as communicated by two of the following persons, the General Secretary of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan , the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Peace Foundation , or the Member and Accounting Officer of the Board of Directors of the Peace Foundation , the Foundation may elect from time to time to pay out any or all of the assets of the Fund to the Peace Foundation for any of the following purposes or any other purposes deemed similar by the Foundation in its sole and absolute discretion: 1. For bolstering the operating budget of the Peace Foundation when it reflects a deficit. 2. For increasing the required reserve levels of the Peace Foundation if such levels are modified by any regulatory agency. 3. For special programs of the Peace Foundation requiring additional funding outside the budget. 4. For maintaining solvency of the Peace Foundation. Furthermore, upon request from the Peace Foundation, as communicated by two of the following persons, the General Secretary of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan , the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Peace Foundation , or the Member and Accounting Officer of the Board of Directors of the Peace Foundation , the Foundation may elect to pay out up to thirty percent (30%) of the assets of the Fund to the Peace Foundation for its general mission purposes, as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the Foundation.
