For the Hulda Niebuhr Endowment Fund held at McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, IL, for excellence in teaching and the practice of educational ministry to be used for Christian education resources that are in harmony with the worship, teachings, and practice of the Reformed Faith, and may include resources that supplement the approved curriculum and the plans/action for leadership development to enable appointed leaders in the Christian education of adults, youth and children; e.g., book, periodicals, maps, audio-visual tapes and equipment, resources for illustrating stories, historical events, leadership training presentations, speakers, tuition for leadership development seminars, but excluding transportation and room and board, Said funds are not to be used for staff salaries, honorariums, library resources, education, training, renewal, etc. Said funds shall be paid annually as specified above directly to the congregation and not to or through the Hulda Niebuhr Endowment Fund. In the event the Hulda Niebuhr Endowment Fund does not recognize a specific congregation as described above in any given year, said income shall be paid to McCormick Theological Seminary for the purchase of educational resources for the seminary's library, including but not limited to equipment for making library resources available to visually or hearing impaired students, equipment for accessing computerized database searches, video equipment and cassettes, books, journals and newly emerging library research and utilization equipment.
