This Permanent Fund Agreement is made for the purpose of maintaining the following cemeteries: 1) the McGeachy Family Cemetery (Mossy Pool); 2) the graveyard of St. Pauls Presbyterian Church in St. Pauls, N.C.; and possibly 3) other nearby family cemeteries chosen at the discretion of the St. Pauls Presbyterian Church Session. Interest from the Permanent Fund is to be used to provide for the continuing care, maintenance and preservation of the above named cemeteries.

This fund is established in honor of the Rev. Dr. Thomas F. Taylor's work as President and CEO of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Foundation and in special recognition of his work during a time of change to promote unity of Presbyterians across denominational lines. The income from this fund shall be paid to the Donor Advised Fund known as the Presbyterian Reconciliation Fund, which is advised by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Foundation's Board of Trustees. It is my strong and abiding desire that, in order to further the historical and continued connection of all Presbyterians, the funds disbursed from the Presbyterian Reconciliation Fund be distributed to Presbyterian churches and Presbyterian organizations--including but not limited to, individual churches, seminaries, missions, scholarship funds, and educational programs--that are not part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) such that the distributions of funds and use of them by grantees will promote reconciliation and reunion among Presbyterians.
