It is to be understood that the Beneficiary will evaluate the Award from time to time so that the Award amount may be competitive with other awards. In a year when the Award is not deemed to be awarded, that money will be spent at the Beneficiary's discretion.The John Henry Spaulding Award is to be given at the Annual meeting of the Presbyterian Historical Society of the Southwest for the best paper presented at the meeting. The author receives an Award of $100.00. The criterion for the Award is to be set by the Presbyterian Historical Society of the Southwest.
