The Foundation may pay the net income therefrom, after the expiration of each calendar quarter, to the International Museum of the Reformation. Notwithstanding the above, the Foundation is not required to pay the Net Income to the Charitable Beneficiary, but may, in its sole discretion, choose to pay such income to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), A Corporation, or its successors, to support educational and historical programs involving the Reformation. Any income that is paid to the Charitable Beneficiary may be used for any purposes designated by its governing body. Additionally, the Foundation may elect from time to time to pay out a portion of the principal of the Fund to the charitable Beneficiary for any of the following purposes or any other purposes deemed similar by the Foundation in its sole and absolute discretion: financing the extension or a major remodeling of the museum; financing the acquisition of the objects to be added to the collections of the museum; financing the organization of temporary exhibitions of the museum; recapitalization to the necessary extent of the Charitable Beneficiary in case its survival is in jeopardy or would depend on the sale of all or part of its collections, upon a demonstrated need for such principal by the Charitable Beneficiary.
