Scholarship awarded on basis of (1) membership in the Taymouth Presbyterian Church, (2) participation in the church's activities, (3) financial need. The Scholarship award for someone in post high school education- a vocational school, a trade school, a 2 or 4 year college, a theological seminary. The session should be in control of awarding the scholarship. The scholarship should be ordinarily and if possible awarded completely each year to one or more students.

The income from said investment shall be added to the principal of this fund for a period of at least forty eight (48) years as described below. Reinvestment shall commence with the net income for the quarter ending the 31st day of March 1985 and continue through the quarter ending the 31st day of December 2032.Following that date, FPC shall have the right to withdraw any or all of the principal of this gift at its market value on the requested quarterly withdrawal date, as well as any or all of the income accumulated up to and including the income for the quarterly ending date as of which withdrawal is requested. Income and/or principal which are not withdrawn shall be held, invested, and reinvested with the Foundation until such time as the Church request said withdrawal. FPC shall use the aid principal and/or income from the fund hereby established for the financial support of building projects, including addition, renovation, or other types of capital expenditures relating to the building itself as its Session shall determine. The written request is to be the result of a resolution of the Session as passed at a correctly constituted meeting of said Session. The request shall include a copy of the resolution, shall be signed by the then Moderator of Session and attested to by the Clerk of Session of the First Presbyterian Church of Buchanan, Michigan.
