Frank E. Joy and Ruth Baldwin Joy Scholarship Fund | 102240202993
To be used for scholarships for students who are members of Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church, or are members of a church under the Heartland Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and are furthering their education. The Church's scholarship fund committee shall determine the criteria, eligibility and amount of scholarships. If there is no scholarship committee, the Church shall establish a committee to administer the Net Income from such Fund. It is understood that the amount of the initial funding of this trust distribution and the investment return of such Fund will affect the amount of scholarship and duration. If the Presbytery acquires Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church, or its successor, it is requested that the Presbytery continue to administer the Net Income from such Fund. If Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church, its successor or the Presbytery determines that it is no longer practical or economical to continue to administer the Net income from such Fund, the Church, successor or Presbytery may, in its sole discretion, determine how to dispose of any remaining funds, but preferably for educational purposes.

To provide financial assistance to those preparing for the Gospel Ministry who are members of First Presbyterian Church of Rolla, MO; endorsed by the Session and under the care of the presbytery of jurisdiction; accepted as a student, or a student of, a theological seminary recognized by the General Assembly of the PC(USA) and preference for assistance shall be given to students enrolled at McCormick Theological Seminary. The use of the funds by the recipient are for tuition, books, fees, and miscellaneous seminary expenses. In the event that the First Presbyterian Church of Rolla, Missouri does not have a seminarian to benefit from the Fund for five (5) consecutive years, then the Session in consultation with the Committee on Preparation for Ministry of the presbytery of jurisdiction may select a candidate under care of presbytery to benefit from the Fund.
