For the purpose of paying scholarships granted by the College to worthy young men attending said College, who are preparing for Christian service in the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America. In the event said Tusculum College shall cease to exist, or shall cease to be an educational institution endorsed by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America then the net income of the Fund shall thereafter be paid by the Board [of Christian Education - NY] to Maryville College, Maryville, Tennessee for the uses and purposes set forth above and if said Fund shall thereafter be paid by the Board to Maryville College, Maryville, Tennessee for the uses and purposes set forth above and if said Maryville College, at any time when any payments would otherwise be made to it hereunder, shall not be an educational institution so endorsed, then the net income of the Fund shall be paid for the same uses and purposes to such other educational institution, so endorsed, as the Board in its sole discretion may determine.
