To Duta Wacana United Theological College, Yogyakarta, Indonesia…The Duta Wacana United Theological College, Yogyakarta, Indonesia shall use the said income from the fund hereby established to provide scholarships for members of the Gereja Kristen Indonesia-Jawa Tengah (the Central Java Indonesian Christian Church) or its successors. Should the Duta Wacana United Theological College, Yogyakarta, Indonesia be merged or consolidated with any other institution related to the Presbyterian Church (USA), the net income from this gift shall be paid to the said merged institution which shall be entitled to receive all the benefits of this gift and shall be obligated to administer the same in all respects and in accordance with the terms of this agreement. Further, should the Duta Wacana United Theological College, Yogyakarta, Indonesia or its successors cease to exist or cease to be officially connected with the Presbyterian Church (USA), then the said net income from this gift shall be paid to a theological institution in Jakarta, Indonesia related to the Presbyterian Church (USA) which shall be entitled to receive all the benefits of this gift and shall be obligated to administer the same in all respects and in accordance with the terms of this agreement. Should the theological institution in Jakarta, Indonesia related to the Presbyterian Church (USA) be merged or consolidated with any other institution related to the Presbyterian Church (USA), the net income from this gift shall be paid to the said merged institution which shall be entitled to receive all the benefits of this gift and shall be obligated to administer the same in all respects and in accordance with the terms of this agreement. Further, should the theological institution in Jakarta, Indonesia related to the Presbyterian Church (USA) or its successors cease to exist or cease to be officially connected with the Presbyterian Church (USA), then the said net income shall be paid to the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA), to be used for purposes as similar as possible to the original intent of the Donor.

For the overseas mission work of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in the Republic of Cameroun, Africa. If the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is unable to carry on mission work within the Republic of Cameroun for political or other reasons, then said income shall be used to support overseas missions work as near as possible to the original intent of the Donor.

to be used for the first ten years after receipt of the bequest for third and/or fourth year college or university (commonly known as junior or senior years) student scholarship aid. The maximum scholarship shall be $2,000 for any one school year, and shall be based on need and shall be given to a black pre-medical student, with preference given to a woman. A recipient who receives this scholarship during her or his third year (junior) shall be eligible to re-apply for her or his fourth year. In the event that this bequest shall earn during one school year, less than $2,000.00, principal may be used, as long as the fund lasts, to assure a $2,000.00 scholarship. In the event that this bequest shall earn more than $2,000.00 in any one school year, the excess of income only shall be used to provide one or more additional full or partial scholarships, subject to a $2,000.00 limit per scholarship per school year. After ten years (beginning May 2001), the income from this bequest shall be used at the discretion of General Assembly, with preferential consideration being given to the original intent of the bequest (pre-medical education of black women) if it is determined by the Church that this is a mission of priority.
