To be used for scholarship assistance for needy seminary students who plan to serve the Church in the gospel ministry, with first preference given to students who plan to serve in small towns of under 30,000 population for a period of three years. It is understood that in the even the student recipient does not comply with the terms of the previous sentence, shall return said money to the Foundation with interest. The rate of interest to be that same as what a Certificate of Deposit would earn at the time of the grant/loan is made to the student. This is to be administered by the Foundation and the United Presbyterian Seminary.

For the support of scholarship assistance to deserving United Church of Christ in the Philippines students at Union Theological Seminary, currently located in Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines. Should Union Theological Seminary of Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines be merged or consolidated with any other Seminary related to the Presbyterian Church (USA), the United Church of Christ in the Philippines shall use the said net income from this gift for scholarship assistance to its deserving students at the said merged Seminary. Should Union Theological Seminary of Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines or its successors cease to exist or cease to be a part of or officially connected with the Presbyterian Church (USA), the United Church of Christ in the Philippines shall use the said net income from this gift for scholarship assistance to its deserving students of theological education at its discretion. Should the United Church of Christ in the Philippines be merged with any other denomination related to the Presbyterian Church (USA), the said net income from this gift shall be used for the support of the said merged denomination which shall be entitled to receive all the benefits of this gift and shall be obligated to administer the same in all respects and in accordance with the terms of this agreement. Further, should the United Church of Christ in the Philippines or its successors cease to exist or cease to be related to the Presbyterian Church (USA) for scholarship assistance to students of theological education at its discretion.
