For the creation of a fund to be known as the Thomas and Miriam Hargest Fund to be used for financial assistance for those rising juniors and seniors of Lafayette College interested in pursuing careers in the field of medical engineering research or medical instrumentation research; if all or part of such net income cannot be sued for the above purpose, then the balance not used may be expended for another purpose consistent with the above objective.
