Designated Use

The interest earned shall become available to any member of the United Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, New York. This would apply to a college graduate who wishes to enroll for at least one year in a Seminary of other religious school of higher education in order that it may be determined whether or not to continue in the field of religious work consisting of Ministry of the Gospel, Director of Christian Education, Director of Religious Music OR other church employed vocations approved by the Session of the Church. When the income from the trust fund has not been used by a member of the church for such scholarship over a two year period, the income may then be used by the First United Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, New York for the support of a Mission selected by the Session of the church. Any applications for scholarships from this fund must be approved by the Session of the First Presbyterian Church, Youngstown, New York.
