Designated Use

The net income therefrom as such income is received, in quarterly payments to begin on the 31st day of March 1982. The income shall be held, invested and reinvested by the Foundation until it is withdrawn for use at the determination and request of a Scholarship Committee at the First United Presbyterian Church of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, which shall be established by the Session of the said church to direct the use of said income for educational purposes, in accordance with the terms of this agreement. This said Scholarship Committee shall consist of the Senior Pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church and the Chairman of the Christian Education and Personnel Committees of the First United Presbyterian Church of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, together with others as decided by the Session of the said church. The First United Presbyterian Church of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho shall use the said income from the fund hereby established to provide financial assistance for students from the First United Presbyterian Church of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho who are preparing for full-time Christian services in the ministry, missionary service, medicine, nursing or music. Aid will be granted based on both scholarship and economic need, as the committee established for this purpose shall in its wisdom determine with approval by the Session of the First United Presbyterian Church of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
