Designated Use

To be used by the Session for the following purposes: Fifty percent (50%) of the income is to be used for the youth work in the Vidalia Presbyterian Church of Vidalia, Georgia which is over and beyond any of the church budgeted programs. This will include activities that would expand to the un-churched young people as well as those regularly attending church and youth work with emphasis placed on improving the quality of activities by the youth program in the church. This money to be disbursed with acknowledgment that the funds are from the DOUG WILKES MEMORIAL FUND. Fifty percent (50%) of the income is to be used to provide scholarship aid to a financially needy person who without this scholarship may not be able to attend a facility of higher learning including trade schools. The recipient need not be a member of the Vidalia Presbyterian Church of Vidalia, Georgia. First priority to be given to foster and/or adopted persons. Recipients of this Fund will be advised that they are receiving funds from the DOUG WILKES MEMORIAL FUND and checks will be written with the notation of the DOUG WILKES MEMORIAL FUND attached to said check. This scholarship will be administered by the Session of the Vidalia Presbyterian Church of Vidalia, Georgia.
