Designated Use

It is to be administered by the Church session, along with the organist, the choir director and choir member, Laura Raschke, in the case of musical events. This Fund is to benefit the local Presbyterian Church, but not to defray part of the annual running expenses of the Church, since I believe that the annual budget is the concern and responsibility of the entire congregation. It is my intention that payments from this Fund be used by the church to promote the gathering and the increase of God's people in worship, praise and service to Him. If such promotion can be achieved through the securing of guest lecturers, the appearance of touring choirs, the appearance of nationally known organists, the playing of traditional church music and annual new member dinners, then such would be appropriate use of this Fund. It should always be understood, however, that this Fund is not limited to these suggestions, but should be used as the local church deems best to increase the overall membership and commitment of the people of Sandusky to the Presbyterian Church, of which I am proud to be part.
