Designated Use

To establish a lectureship to be known as the Kidder Lectures, in the field of Biblical scholarship, said lectures to be delivered by a well-known Bible scholar from a Presbyterian seminary, or institution of equal standing. They may be delivered singly, or preferably, in a series of three, annually, or as often as fund permit. They should be popular in nature, able to appeal to laymen of all denominations, and should be widely advertised in the university and the churches of the area.
