Beginning January 1, 1998 the net income therefrom quarterly shall be reinvested into a separate fund until said accumulated income is requested by First Presbyterian Church, Auburn, Alabama. The First Presbyterian Church of Auburn, Alabama shall use the said income from the Fund hereby established for meeting the expenses of the Leith Lectures through the church and be used only to support lecturers who are knowledgeable about and committed to the mainstream of reformed theology that moves from Zwignli, Bullinger and Calvin, through the Westminster Confession, Hodge and Thornwell to Emil Brunner and Karl Barth as the Session shall determine. Should the Session of First Presbyterian Church of Auburn, Alabama approve such withdrawal of accumulated income, by indicating that the above requirements have been met, then such withdrawal shall be made according to the rules of the Foundation then in effect. The Session shall provide written notification to the Foundation of such approved withdrawal. Any written request for withdrawal must be received by the Foundation at least ten business days prior to the periodic valuation deadline of March 31, June 30, September 30, or December 31, in each year. Should the Leith Lectures cease to exist then the principal of this fund shall be added to the Fund for the Explication and Application of Reformed Theology, Agreement #92-673, held at the Foundation. The Leith Lecture Fund for the First Presbyterian Church, Auburn, Alabama would then be terminated.
