Designated Use
To reinvest income back into principal until the principal invested pursuant to this Agreement generates at least $1,000.00 in net income annually. Thereafter the Trustee shall continue to reinvest income back into principal as aforesaid until the earlier of (a) 5 years after the principal held under this Agreement generates $1,000.00 in net income or (b) upon notification in writing by Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville or by such other Presbyterian-related entity as the Session of Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville may designate from time to time and approved by the Trustee, to pay the net income for use as hereinafter provided. At such time the Trustee shall pay the net income quarterly to Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville, or to such other Presbyterian-related entity as the Session of Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville may designate from time to time and approved by the Trustee.Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville or such other Presbyterian-related entity as the Session of Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville may designate from time to time and approved by the Trustee shall us the net income from the principal held under this agreement for the following purposes in the order of priority listed: (i) the advancement of Christian ministry among and in partnership with Native Americans of Dakota lineage or other descendants of the Sioux nation, or, if not feasible, (ii) provide financial aid to Native American students engaged in education in preparation for Christian Ministry among Native Americans regardless of lineage, or if not feasible,(iii) the advancement of Christian ministry among Native Americans regardless of lineage.Use of net income shall be determined by (1) a steering committee to be appointed by the Mission Committee of Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville, or (2) by such other Presbyterian-related entity as the Session of Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville may designate from time to time and approved by the Trustee. The net income shall be used for the foregoing purposes as a matching fund supplement of $1.00 for every $2.00 of other contributions raised from other sources by such steering committee or other entity for such purposes. It is intended that the steering committee or other entity supervising the disbursement of net income from the principal held under this Agreement and the fund raising activities for the foregoing purposes include representation from Native Americans of Dakota lineage or other descendants of the Sioux Nation and other Native Americans. Therefore no less than one member of the steering committee or other entity shall be a person of Dakota lineage or other descendent of the Sioux Nation or, if not feasible, a Native American of another nation or lineage.The Treasurer or other general financial officer of Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville, or general financial officer of such other Presbyterian-related entity as the Session of Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville may designate from time to time and approved by the Trustee, to supervise the disbursement of net income from the principal held under this Agreement, shall as requested as part of the Trustee's normal program audit practices certify to the Trustee that the net income received from the Trustee during the accounting period has been disbursed in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.
