Designated Use

The Session shall use the said income from the Fund hereby established as follows: 50% for the support of its music ministries, including the maintenance and repair of the organ; purchases of music, hand-bells, robes, and supplies; or payment of honoraria and program expenses for guest performers or instrumentalists. Further, the Session may, at its discretion, accumulate the income from year to year until such times as it may best accomplish these purposes. 50% to meet mission and outreach needs in the surrounding community, region, or world, with the intention that such funds shall challenge the Session to address emerging problems or seize new opportunities for Christian witness and service; while, in no way supplanting or diminishing the Church's commitments and responsibility for benevolence work as part of its operating budget from year to year.
