Designated Use

For purposes as similar as possible to the original intent of the Donor. To be used for Greenville Presbyterian Church of Donalds, South Carolina, to supplement Greenville Presbyterian Church's ministry of compassion to its own members and then to anyone living in a ten mile radius of Greenville Presbyterian Church. The Net Income is to be administered by the Session. A written and public record is to be kept and included in the church audit. [obsolete with dismissal from the PCUSA]. Further, should the aforesaid charitable purposes become, in the sole opinion of the Foundation (and without the approval of any court, person, organization or entity) obsolete, indefinite or impractical or impossible to perform or fulfill, then the Beneficiary shall use said Net Income in order of priority (1) for the care of the cemetery including plots and tombstones of the Leith family; (2) for the care and repair of the church buildings and grounds.
