to the memory of our dearly beloved son, John Hampden Cooper, in trust to the Presbyterian Board of Home Missions for the erection of a church of brick or stone, would prefer for the benefit of the native Indians, the place to be selected by that Society. On foundation corner stone to be inscribed Cooper Memorial; in addition, two thousand dollars to be invested, the interest to be used for insurance and repairs, and in case of destruction, to be rebuilt.
