Designated Use

The income from this Fund will be applied for use outside the regular budget for the support of the Evangelists' School at Batouri, Cameroun. The Commission [Coemar] shall have discretion and responsibility to apply such income to the work best calculated to memorialize and epitomize the splendid contribution of Mrs. Virginia Rodgers, understanding that your wishes , in order of preference, in the event that it should become no longer considered advisable or feasible to use it for support of the Evangelists' School at Batouri, would be as follows: (1) for work in Northern Brazil presently being carried on by Mrs. Pierce Du Bose under the Board of Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church of the United States but only on condition that the said Presbyterian Church of the United States has by the time this clause comes into operation become united with the United Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A.; (2) for other evangelical mission work in Northern Brazil; (3) for evangelical mission work in Korea.
