[11/5/2013 - PCUSA Certified Use states - PCUSA shall not use any income in North Korea unit such time as the United states has lifted Sanctions against such country or has issued the PUCSA a license to disburse fund in such country. Additionally, the income will only be used at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary of the Presbyterian Church of Korea unless the PCUSA has reason to believe that the use no longer satisfies the intent of the donor. If the PCUSA believes that the use no longer meets the donor's intent, it will propose a new use with an explanation as to how the proposal meets the intent of the donor for the Foundation's approval as required in the donative document. PCUSA shall notify the Foundation prior to resuming any disbursement of funds to North Korea.] For theological education in Korea in the spirit of the Pyengyang Seminary, which is an emphasis on the authority of the Scriptures, the urgency of world missions and evangelism and the reformed theological heritage of the Presbyterian Church. It is requested that the annual interest remittances be designated for the Presbyterian Theological Seminary of the Presbyterian Church of Korea for so long as in the Foundation's judgment this satisfies the intent of the donor. We would finally ask the Presbyterian Foundation to remain open to the possibility that someday the Presbyterian Church of Korea may be able and willing to reestablish a seminary in the north [Korea], perhaps in Pyengyang, for theological education in Korea in the spirit of the Pyengyang Seminary; that it, with emphasis on the authority of the Scriptures, the urgency of world missions and evangelism, and the Reformed theological heritage of the Presbyterian church. In that case we ask it to consider seriously the possibility of re-designating all or part of the interest from the Fund to such an institution.
