I further direct that the income from said investments shall be forwarded to Reverend Hugh Linton, a missionary to Korea, so that he may use the income in such way as he sees fit in the mission he is carrying out in Korea or in such other place as he may from time to time engage in the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ.I further direct that the income from this trust shall no be included in any budgeted funds and that the budget to be allowed for ministry by said Board shall not be reduced as a result of the income here provided Reverend Linton.I further direct that so long as the aid Hugh Linton is engaged in missionary service, that the funds shall be forwarded to him for expenditure as he may see fit and that thereafter, if his sons or any of them are engaged in missionary work under the jurisdiction of said Trustee, the income here provided be forwarded to one or more of said sons for similar expenditure. When the said Hugh Linton and his sons are no longer engaged in the missionary field, under the jurisdiction of said Trustee, then I direct that these funds may be used by said Trustee or its successor for foreign missions in any way it deems fit.I further direct that the Trustee shall give an accounting of this trust to the elders of First Presbyterian Church in Meridian, Mississippi, and the income be credited to that portion of the budget of said church normally committed to foreign work.

Selection of ministers is to be from a rotating alphabetical listing of Presbyteries as the income allows. Upon return from the Holy Land the minister will present an audio-visual report to a minimum of two groups of concerned church persons and two senior citizen groups.

1. The Foundation shall distribute the income from the Fund to A Corp., located at 100 Witherspoon Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40202, to be used, in a manner determined in its sole discretion, for its work with the UPC in supporting the development of pastoral leadership in the Church of Christ in Congo (ECC), thus ensuring that the Fund continues to be used for the charitable purposes of the FTPZ. 2. The Donors desire that, in expending the income from the Fund, the A Corp. consult with the UPC as to its needs for the support of the development of pastoral leadership in the Church of Christ in Congo (ECC) and that it be guided by the following preferences in using the income from this Fund for its work with the UPC: a. Books for the library b. Faculty development and salary support c. Extension services for pastors and evangelists d. Promotion of the ideals that characterized the life and witness of Ishaku (Jean) wa Shadi, in whose memory the fund is established, namely: - devotion to Christ and the Church - dedication to pastoral ministry - love of the Bible and Christian literature - love of and patience with people - fidelity, honesty, and generosity - unselfish service 3. Should the UPC be merged or consolidated with any other institution related to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the net income from this gift shall be used by A Corp. for its work with the merged institution in the same manner as used for its work with the UPC the same in all respects and in accordance with the terms of this agreement. 4. Further, should the UPC or its successors cease to exist or cease to be a part of or officially connected with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), or if the UPC is disaffiliated from the Church of Christ in Congo (ECC) , or there are other major political or ecclesiastical changes which make the use of the income for the A Corp.'s work with the UPC unwise for the development of pastoral leadership in the Church of Christ in Congo (ECC) , then the said net income shall be used by the A Corp. for theological education in the Democratic Republic of Congo as it deems necessary.
