for use according to the terms of the Will of Llewelyn Breese under the direction of the Session of the First United Presbyterian Church of Portage, Wisconsin. Excerpt from the Will of Llewelyn Breese pertaining to the First United Presbyterian Church of Portage, Wisconsin: My Trustee is ordered to give to the First United Presbyterian Church of Portage the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) to be held in trust and used for the benefit of any underprivileged children of said church. Said money shall be administered by the Pastor of said Church with the assistance of any two elders selected by the Board of Elders for this purpose. The First United Presbyterian Church of Portage and/or the Board of Elders shall not be accountable to anyone upon receipt of this fund which shall be known as The Llewelyn Breese Fund for the Needy. The Church is requested to use this fund to help children who need medical, dental, optical or any other kind of assistance, having to do with physical or mental welfare, and whose parents are not in a position to furnish same. The donor particularly wishes that children who have hearing defects be given primary consideration and assistance from this fund. The Church and/or the Board of Elders so selected to administer this fund in conjunction with the pastor of said church are not bound to follow the following suggestion, but the donor suggests the following course of conduct in relation to said fund: That the First United Presbyterian Church of Portage, its pastor in conjunction with the two members of the Board of Elders, so selected, use this fund for an investment fund such as an investment in real estate and/or in municipal bonds, and that only the income said investment be used.
